Meadow are champs

IRVINE MEADOW clinched the Super Premier Division title amidst dramatic scenes on Wednesday night.

A double from David McGeown and a goal from Michael Hughes helped Medda overcome Beith 3-2 while closest challengers Auchinleck Talbot went down 2-1 at Largs Thistle.

This ensured Chris Strain's team clinched their second title in three seasons.
