IRVINE MEADOW have the incentive of a trip to the Capital to face non-league team Edinburgh City in the second round of the William Hill Scottish Cup, if Chris Strain's side can overcome Forres Mechanics.

The Irvine side take face the Highland League cracks in a home first round replay this weekend and should they get through that would be heavily favoured to win in Edinburgh.
