LAST season's beaten finalists Irvine Meadow have been drawn at home to Craigmark Burntonians in the opening round of the Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup. Kilwinning Rangers play Premier Division rivals Hurlford United at Blair Park and Kilbirnie Ladeside are at Glenafton Athletic.
Holders Beith have a first round bye and will have home advantage in the second round against Craigmark or Irvine Meadow.
The trophy is sponsored by the publishers of the Ayr Advertiser, Carrick Herald, Troon and Prestwick Times, Irvine Times, Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald, Cumnock Chronicle and Largs & Millport Weekly News.
The full first round draw is, as follows: Cumnock v Largs Thistle; Girvan v Lugar Boswell Thistle; Glenafton Athletic v Kilbirnie Ladeside; Hurlford United v Kilwinning Rangers; Irvine Meadow v Craigmark Burntonians; Kello Rovers v Ardrossan Winton Rovers; Muirkirk Juniors v Whitletts Victoria; Troon v Ardeer Thistle.
