CUMNOCK 1
KILWINNING RANGERS 3
BUOYANT Buffs bounced back in style from their West of Scotland Cup defeat by clocking up an impressive win at Townhead Park.
The visiting side played some good football against a home team who are battling for survival following what has been a disappointing start to the season.
Buffs took the game to 'Nock and made the breakthrough in 31 minutes, when former Ayr United man Ryan Nisbet shot home.
Cumnock kept plugging away and levelled seven minutes later when Paul Burns netted.
Buffs began well after the break and restored their advantage in 72 minutes when Findlay Frye smashed the ball home.
Then a minute from time Junior Scotland International striker Bryan Boylan scored to put the result beyond any doubt and pick up three well-deserved points for his side.
KILWINNING RANGERS: Strain; Latta, McCloskey, Maitland, Whyte, Frye, Monti, McGuinness, Winters, Nisbet, Boylan. Subs: Coleman, Hanvey, Lewis, Wardrope.
