FOUR - goal Gary Madden was the star as Vics routed their Stevenston hosts to soar into their first final in almost a decade.
Vics went ahead in five minutes when Gary McGrath sent a through ball to Darryl Boyd, who slipped the ball between the keeper's legs and into the net.
Ardeer equalised in 20 minutes when sloppy defending allowed Darren Miller to play a one-two before scoring from the edge of the box. Vics scored three minutes later when Madden, who won a hat-trick of Player of the Year awards from the Irvine club, netted from close range.
In 50 minutes the visitors netted again when Blair Gilmour headed home a Madden corner-kick.
Goal number four came from Madden who made a good run at the front post before finishing well. Madden completed his hat-trick when he surged forward and finished well.
Following a spell of Vics pressure Ardeer failed to clear their lines and the ball rebounded off a defender, allowing Madden to slot home.
Goal number seven came from Brian Love who turned his marker in the box and fired home at the near post in 73 minutes.
Ewan Robertson netted number eight three minutes later, scoring at the near post. Right from kick-off Ardeer scored a consolation goal when Dougie Ellis smashed home a shot from six yards.
However late on Boyd finished with a shot from just inside the box to rap up a resounding victory for Rab Madden's men.
