FIRED-UP Irvine Meadow boss Chris Strain is urging his side to prove the bookies wrong on Saturday and make history by toppling Arbroath to clinch a berth in the highly lucrative Active Nation Scottish Cup Fourth Round.
A bumper crowd of up to 1500, including SFA Chief Executive Gordon Smith is expected to converge on Meadow Park as the club host a senior Scottish Cup tie for the first time in their 112-year history.
And while bookies William Hill are quoting Dow at the very generous price of 4/1 the Third Round tie with the Red Lichties favourites at 2/1 on and a draw rated at 14/5, Strain insists his team will revel in the underdog role and are capable of causing an upset.
