Meadow Relieved by Postponement

IRVINE MEADOW boss Chris Strain admits he was slighty relieved that his side's Emirates Scottish Junior Cup Fourth Round clash was called off on Saturday.

Strain, whose side are set to host Annbank United in the re-arranged all-Ayrshire match on Saturday, said: "Some of the players had bumps and knocks after the Scottish Cup tie against Hibs and now they have had time to fully recover."

But he is in no way underestimating the opposition.
