KILWINNING Rangers and Ardrossan Winton Rovers clashed in a top-of-the-table classic at Winton Park on Saturday.
It was a terrific advert for junior football with the stakes high as an away win would have opened up a significant gap between the teams, whereas a home victory would see the the teams draw level on 30 points.
That was the scenario that was played out in a match that had two penalties, two sending-offs and enough incidents packed into 90 minutes than some teams experience in an entire season.
