IF EVER a game hinged on one incident that was it.

A goal up in the second half and pushing for a second the wheels came off the Meadow motor and it rolled downhill when Mark Crilly was sent off, conceding a penalty.

In the end, Beith stunned Meadow with four second half goals which virtually ended the reigning champions' Premier League hopes.

However, the decisive victory sees Beith unbeaten and ten points ahead at the top of the table only a week after their shock exit from the Scottish Cup.

In a match played like a cuptie Beith's Kenny McLean shot just past in the post in five minutes and then John Craig beat 'Dow keeper Michael Wardrope with a 20 yard effort but the ball came back off the post.
