SWEEPER Kevin MacDonald and central midfielder David McGeown are both on personal missions to lift the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup with IRVINE MEADOW after near misses in the game's blue riband competition.

MacDonald, who joins from Kirkintilloch Rob Roy said: "I was in the Rob Roy team which lost over two legs to - eventual winners - Auchinleck Talbot two years ago and that was a big disappointment for me."

"We want to win everything we are in but we hope to challenge for the Scottish Cup, although a lot depends on the luck of the draw, and also the league title."
