KILWINNING will be represented by the youngest member of Scotland's lawn bowls team, when Michelle Cooper takes part in this year's Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
The 24-year-old will compete as part of the women's triples team, with Lorraine Malloy and Lynn Stein as they go looking to win gold at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex in October.
Cooper was part of the Scotland squad at the 2004 Commonwealth Youth Games that achieved a team silver medal at the only time in which lawn bowls has been part of the youth set-up at the Games.
