VICTORIA Park was rocking on Saturday after Irvine Vics qualified for the league cup knockout stages for t he first time in 15 years.

It wasn't just the news from Hurlford that Meadow had won 2-0 that meant that Vics had gone through - music to fit the mood came blasting out the home dressing room.

And manager Steve Barclay revealed he has given the rythmic vibes his blessing as it helps team spirit.

He said: "We just shut the dressing room door and let them get on with it - win, lose or draw and after every match and even at training. The only time it doesn't get played is at half-time as we have only got that slot to talk to them."
