KIlBIRNIE had to battle back three times to force a draw in the Ardagh Glass Cup match at Abbey Park on Saturday.

The new-look Buffs must have thought they had done enough to register a win but Premier League Ladeside bounced back off the ropes in an absorbing game.

It was eventful from the first minute when Buffs striker Michael Hart moved forward to the edge of the box from where he lashed a low shot beyond keeper Kenny Pollock.
