PROUD KILWINNING RANGERS boss Billy Thomson saluted his team this week after soaring to the top of the Stagecoach Super League First Division following an excellent 1-0 triumph at Renfrew on Saturday.

But the Buffs gaffer is cooling any title talk and instead insisting the target for Buffs is to consolidate their place in the middle tier of Junior Football after securing instant promotion back from the District League last season.
