PUPILS from Glebe Primary School were a smash success after competing in a major event for the first time.
They travelled to Ravenscraig Sports Centre to represent Ayrshire and compete in the Gibb Memorial Quaich.
This was a great experience for Glebe’s badminton players.
The Irvine school were the new kids on the block, competing for the first time in the Gibb Memorial Quaich.
Glebe played eight teams, winning two games and beaten and losing out in six, which was really good going considering it was their debut in the top competition.
