YOUNG Stewarton Curler Sarah Reid led her country to World Championship glory in America in March.

The 21-year-old, a member of Stewarton Heather Curling Club, skippered the Scottish side to a nailbiting 7-6 victory over Canada at the World Junior Curling Championships in Minnesota, USA.

And with one gold medal in her pocket Sarah is looking forward to a big push toward making the 2012 Winter Olympics.
