EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(Route A70, Coalhall) (Temporary Road Closure and Prohibition of Waiting) (No. 2) Order 2019

On 16/07/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, by reason of resurfacing works to be executed on or near the road. This Order makes it unlawful between 08:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs daily for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any vehicle to wait at any time on either side of the A70 from B730 (west of Coalhall over bridge) eastwards for 2.1km to the access to The Cottage, Drongan. Diversion via B730 Coalhall to Drongan, B7046 through Sinclairston and U728 Glenconner road to A70 at Mote Toll and vice versa. The Order shall come into force at 08:00 hrs on 20/07/19 until 18:00 hrs on 21/07/19 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed. Please note that vehicular access onto the A70 during the road closure will be possible via the B730 (east of Coalhall over bridge) but only at times when it is safe to do so.

Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closures will be permitted to and from their properties when it is safe to do so but not through the works site.

Emergency access will be maintained during the closure and through the works site.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure.

(Aird Avenue, Ballochmyle Avenue, Darnconner Avenue, Glenshamrock Drive & Penden Drive, Auchinleck) (Temporary Road Closures and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2019

On 16/07/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, by reason of resurfacing works to be executed on or near the roads.

This Order makes it unlawful between 07:00 hr and 21:00 hrs daily for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any vehicle to wait on either side of Aird Ave, Ballochmyle Ave from Glenshamrock Dr to property boundary of No's 112 and 114 Ballochmyle Dr, Darnconner Ave, Glenshamrock Dr and Penden Dr, Auchinleck. The cul-de-sacs within these lengths of roads are not going to be resurfaced, therefore, these restrictions will not be imposed on the cul-de-sacs. The Order shall come into force at 07:00 hrs on 27/07/19 until 21:00 hrs on 31/08/19 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed. The restrictions will be introduced in phases as the works progress. Emergency services access will be maintained and vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will be permitted to and from their properties but not through the works site. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
