(BUSBY ROAD, CLARKSTON) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD) ORDER 2019

On the 18 November 2019 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access to a section of Busby Road, Clarkston in the interest of safety due to works proposed to be carried out on or near the road.

The Order permits the closure of Busby Road - southbound lane between its junctions with Mearns Road and Strawhill Road in

two phases.

Phase 1: Overnight from 2300-0530hrs from 23 March until 6 April 2020.

Phase 2: Overnight from 2300-0530hrs from 13 April until 18 April 2020.

Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closures may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Pedestrian access will be unaffected. -v



Alternative Route: Busby Road - Mearns

Road - Greenwood Road - Eaglesham Road - Busby Road and vice-versa.
