EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Route A713, Hollybush and Route A70, Muirkirk) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2020
On 21/07/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on the lengths of roads at the times listed below (except vehicles engaged on the resurfacing works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
PHASED ROAD CLOSURES
DAILY BETWEEN 08:00 hrs & 18:00 hrs.
A713, Hollybush: From a point 25 m southeast of B7034 southeastwards to a point 20 m northwest of Boreland Farm road end.
Closed on Sat 01/08/20, Sun 02/08/20, Sat 08/08/20, Sun 09/08/20, Sat 15/08/20 and Sun 16/08/20.
Alternative Route: via B730 to Drongan, A70 to Coylton, B742 to A713 and vice versa.
A70, west of Muirkirk: From Skew Bridge to a point 100 m northeast of Wellwood Bridge.
Closed on Sat 08/08/20, Sun 09/08/20, Sat 15/08/20, Sun 16/08/20, Sat 22/08/20 and Sun 23/08/20.
Alternative Route: via B743 to Mauchline, A76 to Cumnock, to A70 and vice versa.
A70, east of Muirkirk: From Ponesk O.C.C.S. eastwards for a distance of 1200m.
Closed on Sat 22/08/20, Sun 23/08/20, Sat 29/08/20 and Sun 30/08/20.
Alternative Route: via B743 to Strathaven, A71 Stonehouse, B7078 to Douglas and to A70 and vice versa.
vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closures will be permitted to and from their properties when it is safe to do so and when directed by a Traffic Marshal, but not through the works site.
Emergency access will be maintained during the closures and through the works site.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closures.
The Order shall come into force at 08:00 hrs on 01/08/20 until 18:00 hrs on 30/08/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that East Ayrshire Council propose to make an Order under section 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 redetermining the means of exercise of the public right of passage over the road described in the Schedule hereto.
The title of the order is "East Ayrshire Counci (B7083 Main Street, Auchinleck and B7083 Auchinleck Road, CumnockXRedetermination of Means of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 202-".
A copy of the proposed order and of the accompanying plan showing the roads over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined together with a statement of the reasons for making the order are available for inspection online at

. Those documents are available for inspection from 21 July 2020.
Any person may, within 28 days from 21 July 2020 object to the making of the order by notice in writing to Interim Head of Roads, Ayrshire Roads Alliance, Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock KA1 1DD. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

B7083 Main Street, Auchinleck
The footway on the west side of Main Street from a point in line with the extended northwest kerbline of Rigg Road northwestwards for distance of 470m.
B7083 Auchinleck Road, Cumnock
The footway on the west side of Auchinleck Road from the extended northern kerbline of Underwood Road northwestwards to a point in line with the extended northwest kerbline of Rigg Road (a distance of 590m or thereby)
All of which footways are shown saw tooth hatched on the plan (01) accompanying this Order.
