THE PROPOSED ARDROSSAN HARBOUR REVISION ORDER 2020 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A HARBOUR REVISION ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Ardrossan Harbour Company Limited ("the Company"), as the statutory harbour authority for Ardrossan Harbour ("the Harbour"), has applied to the Scottish Ministers for a harbour revision order ("the Order") under section 14 of the Harbours Act 1964 ("the 1964 Act").
The Order would repeal sections of historic legislation and confer the power to grant leases on the Company. No works are proposed.
No land is proposed for compulsory acquisition and there are no proposals to extinguish or divert any public right of way over a footpath or bridleway.
The application does not relate to a project which falls within Annex I or II to Council Directive 2011/92/EU on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment ("the Directive") not being a construction of a port installation. Accordingly, no environmental statement is required.
Paragraph 16 of Schedule 3 to the 1964 Act (which relates to information on a project which is likely to have significant effects on the environment in any other European Economic Area Member State) does not apply to the application. We are required by law to provide at least one physical deposit location for viewing the draft Order, and details of this are set out below. However given the current COVID-19 pandemic ('coronavirus'), and the Government's guidance and in the interests of health and safety, we strongly encourage you to use the alternative methods of viewing documents that we have provided, as described above. A copy of the draft Order may be collected, free of charge through a call, click and collect service, until the expiry of the forty-two day period referred to below at the following locations and times?

Any person requiring further information concerning the proposed Order should apply in writing for that information either to the Company or to BDB Pitmans LLP, quoting reference "Ardrossan Harbour Revision Order".

within forty-two days from the date at the foot of this notice quoting "The Proposed Ardrossan Harbour Revision Order 2020", stating the grounds of their objection or representation and giving an address to which correspondence relating to the objection or representation may be sent.
All objections or representations made, including personal information provided to Scottish Ministers, will be shared with the Company who may contact you to discuss your concerns. Names and the text of any objections or representations may also be published on Transport Scotland's website due to Freedom of Information requirements. If an objection is duly made to the application and not withdrawn then the Scottish Ministers may, before making their decision, (i) cause an inquiry to be held, or (ii) give to the objector an opportunity of appearing before and being heard by a person appointed by them. BDB PITMANS LLP
