Neilston Road, Barrhead (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2020
On the 15th October 2020 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises the closure of a section of Neilston Road to vehicular traffic between Nether Kirkton Avenue and the access to Nether Kirkton Farm from Monday 7 December until Sunday 20 December 2020.
The road closure is necessary in order to facilitate the safe operation of carriageway resurfacing works and the installation of pedestrian refuge islands within this section of road.
Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be permitted at all times. Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time.
Alternative Routes: Neilston Road - Main Street - Holehouse Brae - (A736) Lochlibo  Road - Neilston Road and vice-versa.
