NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 27
The proposed development at Hare Craig, Muirkirk is subject to environmental impact assessment under the Town and Country^ Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017.
Notice is hereby given that additional information in relation to an EIA report has been submitted to East Ayrshire Council by EnergieKontor UK Limited relating to the planning application in respect of Development of a wind farm consisting of up to 8 wind turbines with blade tip heights between 150m to 230m and associated development notified to you under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 on 14 February 2020 and 23 October 2020.
A copy of the additional information together with the EIA report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application, would normally be available for public inspection in person. In line with the Town and Country Planning (Miscellaneous Temporary Modifications) (Coronavirus) (Scotland) Regulations 2020, the additional information and other information in support of the application is only available to view online at

Any person who wishes to make representations to East Ayrshire Council about the additional information should make them in writing to the Counci within 30 days beginning with the date of this notice and submit them (i), by e-mail to

Should additional environmental information be submitted by the applicant, that information will be publicised by East Ayrshire Council under Regulation 27 of the above Regulations and in a similar manner to the notification given under this notice. Any such publication will include details of how representations in relation to that additional information may be made.
Possible decisions that could be taken by East Ayrshire Council in its role as Planning Authority for the area and relating to this application are:?
(i) Approval of the application without conditions;
(ii) Approval of the application with conditions;
(iii) Refusal of the application.
