ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (A814 EAST CLYDE STREET, HELENSBURGH) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2020
On Monday 9th November 2020, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for a temporary period for any person to wait, drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on sections of East Clyde Street in a manner contravening the restrictions as detailed in the schedules below.
This Order which is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a dangerous building adjacent to the road will be effective when indicated by signs from 0001 hours on 10th November 2020 to 2359 hours on the 30th of November 2020, or until the remedial works are complete, whichever is the earlier. SCHEDULE 1 - PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC East Clyde Street - From its junction with Sinclair Street A818), extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 35 metres or thereby. SCHEDULE 2 - NO WAITING AT ANY TIME/NO LOADING AT ANY TIME/PARKING BAY SUSPENSION East Clyde Street - On both sides from the extended west kerbline of Maitland Street extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 75 metres or thereby. Alternative routes will be via adjacent streets and will be signed in an appropriate manner. If a vehicle is parked without complying with the provisions of this order, then a contravention will have occurred. A penalty charge notice may then be issued by a parking attendant and a penalty charge will be payable.
