(Sandringham Avenue, Newton Mearns) (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2021
On the 23 April 2021 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the RoadTrafFic Regulation Act 1984.The Order was promoted to restrict vehicular access on Sandringham Avenue, Newton Mearns over its full length to facilitate the safe operation of essential carriageway and footway resurfacing works being carried out on or near this road.
The works are scheduled to be carried out from Monday 28 June until Friday 23 July 2021 with the closure in force only during the Contractor's working hours of 0900 and 1600.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Route: Sandringham Avenue -Broom Road - Mearns Road - Roddinghead
Road - Lethington Road -A77 Ayr Road -Sandringham Avenue and vice-versa.
