TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013 & THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (MISCELLANEOUS TEMPORARY MODIFICATIONS) (CORONAVIRUS) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2020 Notice under regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant Proposed development at SHAWLANDS ARCADE, KILMARNOCK ROAD/EASTWOOD AVENUE, GLASGOW Proposed mixed use development to include shops/retail (Class 1), offices (Class 2), restaurants (Class 3)/public houses (sui generis), leisure (Class 11) uses and residential together with associated car parking, access, landscaping, public realm, engineering/infrastructure works and demolition of existing buildings (in Principle and in part detail Phase 1). Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, and following government guidance, a public consultation will be held online at www.shawlandsarcade.com from 9 June 2021 and will include a live interactive Zoom Webinar event on 9 June 2021 between the hours of 7pm and 8pm where members of the project team will present the proposals and be available to respond to questions submitted. From 9th June 7th July, members of the public will be able to contact the project team via the project website with any follow up questions. A recording of the Zoom webinar will be available to watch via the website alongside further consultation information. Comments should not be made to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Glasgow City Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
