Children who are 5 years old between 1 March 2022 and 28 February 2023 are due to be registered for Education. Parents/ carers should register their children online at

When registering your child, you should attach their birth certificate and proof of your residence in the catchment area in the form of a Council Tax Notice and Utility Bill to the on­line registration.
Children normally attend their catchment denominational or non-denominational school; however, parents may make a placing request for their child to attend any other school under the management of the education authority. All parents/carers should be aware that if they choose to make a placing request, that their child will no longer automatically be considered for a place at their catchment school.
