TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF "NO VEHICLES EXCEPT BUSES,TAXIS, PRIVATE HIRE CARS AND PEDAL CYCLES EXCEPT FOR ACCESS TO PREMISES MONDAY - SUNDAY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME" for HGV or commercial vehicle deliveries involved with the Town Hall Works Only Smithhills Street, Paisley
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, schedule 25a(2) of The Renfrewshire Council Paisley Town Centre Order "no vehicles except buses, taxis, private hire cars, and pedal cycles (2) except for access to all premises on Smithhills St and Gauze St (between Smithhills St and Old Sneddon St at any time Monday - Sunday No Waiting at any time" will be temporarily suspended for HGV or commercial vehicle deliveries involved with Town Hall Works only. This is to allow for works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the following roads in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Smithhills Street from Gauze Street to Old Sneddon Street.
Reason for Restriction: Paisley Town Hall Refurbishment Works.
This notice will be in force from Friday 4th March 2022 for 18 months. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
