Notice Of Publication Of Draft Supplementary Guidance And Non-Statutory Planning Guidance

Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended) and Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005

Notice is hereby given that East Ayrshire Council will on 10 June 2022 publish draft supplementary guidance and draft non-statutory planning guidance.
Supplementary guidance has been prepared to support Local Development Plan 2: Proposed Plan. The three pieces of supplementary guidance comprise (i) Developer Contributions; (ii) Affordable housing and; (iii) Financial Guarantees. Non-statutory Planning Guidance on Community Benefits (relating to renewable energy and minerals extraction) will support the East Ayrshire Local Development Plan 2017, Minerals Local Development Plan 2020 and then, subsequently, Local Development Plan 2.
The supplementary guidance and non-statutory planning guidance can be viewed at:

Representations on all documents are invited and should preferably be sent by email to

. They may also be made in writing by addressing them to Development Planning and Regeneration, East Ayrshire Council, the Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1DD.
Representations should clearly state the name and address of the respondent and to which piece of guidance the matters relate. Representations must be received by the Council no later than 4pm on Friday 22 July 2022.
