EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Route B741 near Connel Burn, New Cumnock) (Amendment) Order 2019

On 19/02/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will amend East Ayrshire Council (Route B741 near Connel Burn, New Cumnock) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2019.

The order amends the provision that allowed the emergency services access through the road closure. Access will now be limited to "Emergency access will be maintained throughout the closure period but not through the actual works site".

The traffic authority is satisfied that traffic on this road should be restricted further to facilitate the road realignment works.

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 25/02/19 until 24:00 hrs on 31/03/19, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

Alternative Route: via B741, A76, A70, B7046, U743 Newfield and C 36 Boig Rd and vice versa.
