A TEENAGER has admitted drunkenly stealing and crashing a car in Irvine.
Liam Davidson, 18, stole the car on New Year’s Eve in Lochilbo Road near to the A736.
He admitted driving without a licence and insurance near High Armsheugh Farm before losing control of the car and causing it to skid off the road.
The vehicle landed in a field after skidding over a verge.
In addition, Davidson admitted drink driving after testing 90 miligrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of blood, exceeding the limit of 80 miligrammes.
Davidson, of Dardon Lough, West Danton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty.
His case has been adjourned until March in order to gather social work reports.
