AN IRVINE band are gearing up for a headline show in their hometown.
Rockers Spleen will reform to play at Irvine's iconic Ship Inn this Saturday, August 1.
Despite never formally splitting up, the trio, made up brothers Paul and Scott Boyd along with Brian Dillon, have been on hiatus for some time.
But they will be hoping for a triumphant return at the legendary venue this weekend after reuniting last month.
The band are following on from fellow Irvine band Culann's lead by performing at the Ship, which went down a storm with Irvine music lovers despite its limited capacity.
There are limited tickets available so be quick and snap them up to avoid disappointment!
Tickets cost £5 and are available from the Ship Inn on 01294 279722.
Doors open at 8pm.
