IRVINE'S Pilot House is another step closer to being redeveloped thanks to a brilliant family funday.
The Coastwatch charity pulled out all the stops to host one of the biggest entertainment weekends of the summer at the weekend - and it was a roaring success.
The group organised the event to raise money for the refurbishment of the iconic Pilot House and help towards the regeneration of the Harbourside area overall.
Run by selfless volunteers, the charity had a host of activities organised for the events which culminated in a breathtaking zip-slide across the Harbourside.
The day seen a huge marquee at the Pilot House including a Hawaiian-themed inflatable bar, a stage with live performances (including singer Sean C Kennedy), a craft fair, home baking, birds of prey, balloons, bouncy castle, a food tent, a roadshow by Irvine Beat FM and much more and, despite the wet weather, people turned out in their droves to enjoy the amazing atmosphere.
Our photographer Ken McKissock was on hand to capture all the fun over the two days.
