POLICE have recovered over £2,000 of alleged drugs after a raid in Irvine last week.
At around 1pm on Friday, August 5, officers attended a property in the town’s Dick Crescent with a search warrant.
During the search, a quantity of alleged class B drugs were recovered from the property.
A 23-year-old man was arrested by police and will be reported to the procurator fiscal for allegedly being concerned in the supply of drugs.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: “We are committed to tackling the concerns of local communities - the supply and misuse of drugs was highlighted as a priority for policing by those completing our ‘Your View Counts’ survey.
“I would encourage anyone with information on those involved in crime in local communities to contact us.”
