Various koi carp fish which had been donated by grieving relatives to a crematorium have been stolen.
Police confirmed the incident and say they are still appealing for information.
Koi carp have become a top target for thieves, with prices for groups of the fish ranging from hundreds to sometimes thousands of pounds for some species.
It’s not known how many were stolen in this incident.
Police Scotland confirmed the incident which happened between February 15 and February 16 at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium in Dreghorn.
Police are still appealing for information regarding the theft and can be contacted via 101.
