Loyalist flute bands will be parading through Irvine this Saturday as the Newtown Defenders hold their annual march.
The parade will gather at 11.30am before moving off from the Redburn Centre at 11.45am and making its way to the Volunteer Rooms.
Notice was given to the council on April 11, with a procession of around 300 going from the Redburn car park, along Dickson Drive, Dick Terrace, Livingston Terrace, Caldon Road, Quarry Road and Eglinton Street.
There will then be an indoor event taking place in the Volunteer Rooms until 7pm with admission costing £3.
The Newtown Defenders, first formed in 1984, will be joined by flute bands Abbey Star, Ardrossan Winton, Ballynafeigh Apprentice Boys, Glasgow Orange Defenders, Larkhall Purple Heroes, Livingstone True Blues, Pride Of The Village Thornliebank, Saltcoats Protestant Boys, Saltcoats Protestant Girls, Sandy Road and Stirling Protestant Boys.
