Rangers flop Joey Barton has caused a Twitter storm after joking about ‘child abuse’ at Celtic.
The 35-year-old replied to a tweet from social media user Michael Johnstone asking "Did you get the kids the new Celtic tops?"

Barton fired back: "Careful with the kids and Celtic in the same sentence Michael. Don’t want folk getting the wrong idea."
He added: "I don't want my kids to get accused of supporting Celtic."
Dozens of his Twitter followers were quick to condemn the former Gers bad boy for his vile comment.
The Singing Scarf wrote: "You really should delete this comment Joey, not good form."

While Kari posted: "Classy guy joking about child abuse."
Joey Barton played just five times in the league for Rangers during his controversial short spell with the Ibrox club last season.
