LITTLE battler Meadow Pipe has lost her fight for life.
The Irvine tot who was born with an incurable blood disease passed away in hospital yesterday morning. She was just three-years-old.
The little smiler has defied the odds since being born with Microcephaly disorder - a rare condition which causes developmental delay and affects a child’s vision, hearing and movement, meaning she needed round-the-clock care.
However, yesterday the brave youngster could take no more and passed away with her devoted parents Laura Muir and Graham Pipe, at her bedside.
Devastated mum Laura said: "We are all in absolute shock and heartbroken. Our beautiful Princess Meadow has gained her Angel Wings. Can't put into words how we feel we will miss that's cheeky beautiful smile. She is the brightest star in the sky."
News of Meadow's sudden death has left the entire town in mourning with hundreds of tributes pouring in for the battling baby who proved every medic wrong.
The Irvine Times will feature a full tribute to Meadow in this week's paper.
