A teenage boy has denied assaulting his ex-girlfriend and throwing eggs.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pled not guilty to two charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
It is alleged that on November 29 at an address in Kilwinning, the teen shouted, swore, and shouted abusive remarks toward his ex.
He allegedly kicked open and damaged a locked bathroom door, smashed a mirror by striking it with his elbow, and threw eggs around and smashed glass.
He is also alleged to have seized hold of his ex-partner by her body and hair, pushed her, shook her and pinned her against a wall.
The teen will return to court at the end of this month for trial.
