A Pennyburn pervert has admitted showing pornographic images to a child on board a fishing boat as well as making sexual comments to girls under 10.

John Donald Cree, 64, currently residing in Saltcoats’ Green Street hostel, pled guilty to commiting three sexual offences on the Isle of Cumbrae when he appeared before Kilmarnock Sherriff Court on Tuesday, January 23.

Former Sundrum Place, Kilwinning resident Cree admitted to making a 10-year-old girl look at sexual images while they were both on board a fishing boat near Millport Harbour between June 28, 2016 and August 20, 2016.

He also pled guilty to making a comment of a sexual nature to the same child.

At a footpath near to the Kelburn Bar in Millport, Cree also made a comment of a sexual nature to another young girl, aged nine, on September 22 of last year.

The case was adjourned for reports.

Cree will return to Kilmarnock Sheriff Court at a later date for sentencing.
