A DESIGNER mum is providing she is ‘sew’ talented after her one-off designs were picked up by a national retailer.

Tracey Moore, 33, is taking over the world of bespoke children’s fashion one stitch at a a time after online kids clothing company Posh Tots contacted her to ask if they could stock her madeto-measure creations on their website store.

The self-taught seamstress, whose business is called Candy Bloss Kids, says she is ‘over the moon’ at the prospect of her designs going national.

She said: “I am so happy, over the moon. Posh Tots is a company based in England but they sell bespoke children’s clothing on their website. It is of a very high standard so I am very flattered they want to stock my stuff.”

Tracey, who is mum to Alfie, six, Blossom, three and eight-month-old Marley, hand makes every single item in the spare room of her Lawthorn home and judging by the quality of them, it’s hard to believe she only picked up a needle and thread three years ago.

She told the Times: “When I had Blossom that’s when I started making things. I started quite small and just made a simple tu-tu and handsewed it.

“But then I realised it was actually quite good and I enjoyed it so I bought myself a sewing machine and just spent hours watching YouTube videos of how to do things and it just went from there.

“At first I was just posting things on my Facebook page of Blossom wearing the things I had made then people started messaging me asking if I could make something for their wee ones and I just got busier and busier.

“I am excited for what comes next.”
