THE sky over Irvine turned pink this weekend in honour of little fighter Meadow Pipe.
The three-year-old’s parents Laura Muir and Graham Pipe organised a Memorial for Meadow day to remember their precious daughter who tragically passed away on January 6.
Dozens of Meadow’s friends and family gathered to release pink balloons and lanterns in a poignant tribute to the tragic tot.
Meadow sadly passed away last month after being born with an incurable blood disease and Microcephaly disorder.
Despite her struggles the plucky three-year-old was an inspiration to all who knew her, defying the odds and doctors every time.
Mum Laura thanked the community for rallying around the family once again.
She said: “Thanks to everyone how turned up to Meadow’s Memorial Day it was so emotional but was very beautiful.”
The family are now trying to raise £2,500 to create a memorial garden for Meadow.
Laura and Graham’s son Logan, 16, has set up a Crowdfunding page and the family is hoping to raise money from that to enable them to build a garden where they can go to remember Meadow.
