Three vehicles were involved in a collision close to a Kilwinning primary school this morning.
Police and an ambulance have attended the scene on Pennyburn Road but authorities are unable to confirm if there are any injuries.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 8.45am this morning police received a report of a road collision on Pennyburn Road near St Lukes’s Primary involving a minivan and two cars.
"The road was closed at the roundabout near St Luke’s and at the Sports club.
"One of the vehicles had to be uplifted and an ambulance has attended the scene."
