Fire crews were called out to the old Blockbuster site in Irvine early this morning over a small blaze at the back of the building.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted just before 4am this morning to the blaze at Irvine’s Riverway Retail Park.
A spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to a small fire at an air conditioning unit at the back of the property.
"Two fire engines were mobilised and attended at 3.57am.
"The fire was extinguished at 4.13am and crews left the scene 4.21am."
