Fire crews responded to a blaze near Perceton House in Irvine this afternoon.
Two engines were called out over a pile of debris burning outside a derelict building.
A spokeswoman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called at 1.08pm to rubbish on fire outside a derelict building in Irvine.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire engines to Barclay Gardens where firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
