POLICE have appealed for information following last week’s serious motorbike crash in Dreghorn.
Around 11.45am last Monday, July 23 a 47-year-old man was riding his silver Yamaha motorbike east along the B7080, Long Drive, when a collision occurred.
Emergency services attended and the man was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Medical staff describe his condition as stable.
Sergeant Cat Gibbons from the Divisional Road Policing Unit based at Irvine appealed for witnesses, adding: “In particular I would like to speak to the driver of a burgundy Audi believed to be on the road at the time as well as any motorists with dashcams who may have captured footage of the incident.”
