A teenager who assaulted a woman has been fined.
Lucy Jade Young, 18, punched a woman on the head on December 23 at her home in Dalry’s St Margaret Avenue.
Young also resisted, obstructed or hindered two police constables on the same date, also at her home address.
She struggled and threw herself to the ground, pulled the officers about and refused to walk to a police vehicle.
Young pled guilty to three charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court but was admonished and dismissed for behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
She was fined £200 on the other two charges.
