Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing 63-year-old man who was last seen in Irvine.
Marshall Blackett was last seen around 11.10am on Tuesday, August 28 at Woodland View Hospital in Irvine.
Mr Blackett, of Stockbridge Crescent, Kilbirnie, is described as white, 5ft 8 inches in height and of very slim build with receding grey hair and facial stubble.
When he was last seen he was wearing a blue jacket with green stripes on the sleeve, a cream top with dark coloured jeans and shoes.
Inspector Christine Boyd of Irvine Police Office said: “Marshall has been dealing with some personal problems and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and safety.
“He is known to travel by taxi and regularly frequents the Glengarnock area, particularly Glengarnock Castle. I would urge anyone who has seen him, or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact Irvine Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 2213 of the 28th August 2018.”
