Woman taken to hospital after car and bus crash in Kilwinning
A woman was taken to hospital following a crash between a car and bus in Kilwinning.
The incident, involving a Stagecoach bus and a car, occurred on the A737 Irvine Road which had been blocked both ways but has since been cleared.
Police Scotland said: "We were alerted at 9.57am to report of a collision between a car and bus in Kilwinning.
"The female driver of a car was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. There was also some fuel spillage from the Stagecoach bus."
