Police are looking for a missing teenager last seen in Kilwinning five days ago.

Kyle Lewis, who is originally from Gorebridge but resides in South Ayrshire, was last seen at Kilwinning Train Station at around 4.30pm on Friday, October 12.

The 14-year-old is believed to have travelled to the Dalkeith area of Midlothian since this time, and officers are asking for the public’s assistance as part of efforts to trace him.

Kyle is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build, with brown eyes and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a distinctive black hoodie with a white stripe on the chest and green across the stomach, a blue and white jacket, and black Nike Air Max trainers.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: “We are keen to establish Kyle’s whereabouts as soon as possible and anyone who believes they may have seen him since Friday is asked to come forward.

“In addition, we would ask that Kyle get in touch with friends, family or police and let us know that he is safe and well."
