Rail services have been delayed after a passenger took ill on a train.
Emergency services are now on site but Scotrail says trains may be revised after a traveller took ill between Kilwinning and Barrasie.
A Scotrail spokesperson said: "Due to a passenger being taken ill on a train between Barassie and Kilwinning, services may be delayed / revised.
"The ill passenger is now in the care of the ambulance crew and services are now on the move.
"We're working hard to get services back on schedule but some disruption may still occur."
